Fertilizer and Watering-Plants: An Introduction

For many students, Horticulture is an interesting and interesting subject to learn. But, for this, students must make sure that they know about the importance of plants and plant nutrients.

For such students, we have created a post dedicated to learning about the importance of plant nutrients, their need, and the methods that are adopted to increase the uptake of these nutrients. This tutorial will teach about the fertilizer and watering-plants.

Why is this subject important?

Students are often advised to buy fertilizer based on their soil condition or according to the crops that they want to plant in the garden. In such cases, the use of fertilizer will increase the nutrient content of the soil, and this will result in better crop yield.

To grow crops, there must be the presence of nutrients in the soil, but the nutrients that are present in the soil will not be active unless there is enough moisture in the soil. But, we cannot always have enough rainfall to meet this need.

For such situations, we have created this tutorial, which helps us with the use of water.

Plant Nourishment

Nutrient is one of the most basic parts of plants, and it is very important to their growth and development. Plants absorb nutrients from the soil, the air, and the water. The way in which they absorb is specific to the plant part. For example, when a plant absorbs water and nutrients from the soil, it absorbs water in the form of roots and the water is then used by the plant through its leaves. This process of absorbing is called Transpiration.

We have mentioned the basics of plants in this tutorial. Now, let’s discuss about plant nutrients.

Nutrients are the substances that plants need for growth and development. Some of these nutrients are taken from the soil, while others are present in the air, in the water, and some are created in the soil itself. Some plants may absorb nutrients in one way and some may use another method. This is why some plants will use water and other plants will use air or water.
